The story behind Amberley

Amberley was launched in 2017 under Mulberry’s then Creative Director Johnny Coca. The name comes from a village in East Sussex, and the inspiration is drawn from British country life. Rider’s Lock is a new interpretation of Mulberry’s Postman’s Lock with ring-shaped metal details.

This gives the bag a balance between a striking piece of hardware and a relatively simple shape. It makes Amberley easy to wear, even when your style is understated and more urban. It works well with a coat in the city, a knit, denim, or a simple dress.

Small Amberley Satchel for everyday use
